Intel Core i5-3317U (1.7 GHz), i3-3217U (1.8 GHz) and i7-3517U (1.9 GHz) is available for Vaio Duo. 128GB mSATA module from Toshiba for Duo 11 is used by Sony. The SSD which is available for Duo 11 works over a 6 GB/s SATA interface and ensures high read and write rates as long as the SSD controller can sustain. Two memory slots which can with stand up to 4,096 MB each is also included in Duo 11.
systemThe slider mechanism with Duo 11 makes the case thicker but at 18 mm (~0.71 inches) it is still pretty slim. The Vaio has normal interfaces similar to a full-size D-Sub VGA interface and an Ethernet RJ-45 port at the back. The feet increases the height of the Vaio and the increase in height presents the cooling with more room for efficient cooling.
There is a hinge which consists of massive magnesium part. The panel is held in position with the help of a large arm and that also includes the back of the devise and the TFT when opened is secured with 2 metal hooks. The opening and closing of the device is also very smooth.

The 13mm keyboard is wide enough with large gaps and makes typing easier. Touchpad can be replaced by the combination of 3 blunt keys that offer grip and a pointer . To move the cursor the user just needs to swipe over the top of the stick. It also has an active stylus pen with its battery . The stylus and Full HD panel is the perfect combination.
It is also equipped with a gyro sensor , a web cam of 2.0 MP and other connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB ports and many more.
